Here's something your students can use in a couple of different ways. The pages can be used as independent worksheets as you teach each letter. It could be used as your "Friday Wrap-Up." Another use could allow students to work on the booklet as a review project, working independently or in a group.
This is my secret weapon for the start of first grade each year. I make booklets for each student. The first day or two, we painstakingly work through a page or two. By the second week of school though, the students become more independent and can do this without much help. It frees me up to have a little time to evaluate students independently. Yay!!
