Knowing a letter is one thing, but being able to sort letters with different fonts is a whole another struggle. I have found that many students struggle to learn letters outside of the neat and carefully chosen fonts we often use for our work.
This lesson was designed to help students sort and match the same letters that look very different. The idea is for students to be able to transfer their letter knowledge to all types of fonts (curly, print, cursive etc.).
Letter groupings can always be adjusted to fit your pacing included is my suggested grouping that I use throughout my own classroom.
