Description
This is a free set of letter/ sound picture cards, perfect for introductory lessons in preschool or kindergarten. Each card has a lowercase letter and a key picture representing the sound the letter stands for. The pictures represent single initial consonant sounds, initial short vowel sounds, and final x with the /ks/ sound. There are two sets of cards, one with color pictures and one with black/ white. These cards present lowercase letters only as this is potentially less confusing for some children and they have a higher utility for reading and spelling than uppercase letters. These cards were designed for use with a multi-sensory introduction of letter names and sounds. They are sized for teaching small groups or individuals.
