This no-prep resource includes 26 pages to practice beginning sounds. Each page focuses on one target letter sound. There are 5 correct answers and 4 incorrect answers on each page.

Please note that pictures on the letter Xx page include images that end with x: box, fox, tux, wax, and mix.

Picture names for every ELA image are available on the Picture Name page.

Simply print the target letter you’d like for your students to practice. Students will need a pencil and crayons, markers, or colored pencils.

These pages work great for introducing letters, small group practice, or practice at home.

Students will say the name of each picture to determine the beginning sound. If the beginning sound matches the target letter, students will color the pictures.

You can also print these on white or color paper, slide them in a page protector and have students use mini erasers or plastic cubes to cover the answers.
