These Letter Sound puzzles are a fun hands-on approach to teaching your students about beginning sounds and letters. For extra sturdiness, copy the pages onto heavy card stock and laminate. You will need to cut the pieces apart. Depending on the ability of your students, you can choose to use 1, 2, 3, or 4 scoops of ice cream for each letter. The students will put the ice cream cones together by matching the pictures to the alphabet letter/sound. The only letter that doesn't have 4 pictures is "x" which has only 2 pictures. You can use these in small center groups or they can even be sent home for homework.
THIS RESOURCE IS ALSO INCLUDED IN MY ICE CREAM CONES PHONICS BUNDLE!
