This product is for an emergent reader excellent for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. The book is available in both color and black and white. The illustrations all contain pictures that start with the "t" sound. The book is half a page with the same words and pictures on the top as the bottom. On the top half of each book, I have added small circles or dots to help students track and practice one-to-one matching.

Not only are emergent readers an important part of the Common Core State Standards, but this book is an excellent tool to teach voice-to-print matching. It is also good to to teach students about how the pictures in a book, and the words in a book support each other.

I have also included a Running Record form in case you would like to use the book as an assessment tool.
