This activity is to review basic colors, numbers 1-10, and the alphabet in Spanish. I use this group game with 3rd and 4th graders primarily.
1. Teachers puts students into groups of 3 or 4 and provides them with coloring utensils and one copy of the worksheet.
2. Teacher will say aloud a letter or number and a color. For example, “La letra ‘a’ es roja.” The students then work with their group to color the correct letter or number the correct color.
3. After all numbers/letters have been called, teacher checks over all worksheets to determine which group got the most correct.
NOTE: With 3rd and 4th graders, I have the groups take turns on who gets to color each time. Students get very competitive and seem to have a great time with this game!
