Letter and Sound Recognition Play-Doh Mats:
Use these play-doh mats to help your students gain letter and sound recognition. For each letter, students will trace both upper and lowercase letters with a dry erase marker. Then, they will use play-doh to copy the letters. Clip art is provided for students to learn sound-correspondence. These are great for centers!
These play-doh mats fulfill the following Common Core State Standards:
RF.K.1d: Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
RF.K.3a: Demonstrate basic knowledge of one-to-one letter-sound correspondences by producing the primary sound or many of the most frequent sounds for each consonant.
