Letter fluency and sound fluency are important parts of learning to read. If students are spending all their time figuring out the sounds, they will not be able to comprehend what they are reading. This packet will help you practice, assess and track your students letter fluency and sound fluency. Included are 3 forms which include all the capital and lower case letters to use for practice and assessment. Also included are 2 different types of recording sheets. One sheet allows you to record how many letters or sounds a student produces in one minute. The second sheet allows you to record how long it takes for the student to name all letters or produce all the sounds.
