This is a great resource for a support service pull-out service.
At the beginning of our school year, scheduling can be a nightmare. We do our best to try and take our students out of their lunch period or a non academic class that is approved by our administration. We have found it to be helpful to provide each teacher with a letter stating when the student will be missing their class. We do this so that we can avoid any issues with the teachers throughout the year. They know where the student is, who usually checks in with them during that class period, and we save a copy knowing that we provided the teacher with an accurate support service schedule.
We work in New York, so we are not positive on the rules/laws of other states. It is always best to check with your administration on the times they prefer you to see your students during the school day.
