Reflection, goal setting, and growth mindset are so important to teach our students, and this resource gives them a chance to do all three! My "Letter to Me" activity is something to use during the first and last weeks of school as a writing activity.
At the beginning of the year, students write a letter to their future selves and:
* Set Goals
* Share emotions
At the end of the year, students write a letter to their past selves and:
* Share memories
* Share their growth
This writing template gets them thinking deeper about the school year. I recommend attaching "First Day of School" and "Last Day of School: pictures to the letters too, to see how they've grown!
* THIS MAKES A GREAT BULLETIN BOARD DISPLAY!!! *
