This pack is a great resource to use throughout the school year to help your students practice/review various literacy concepts about letters. Students will be able to practice identifying letter names and sounds daily using these activities. This pack works great for struggling readers as daily intervention. Students will be practicing saying the name and sound of all letters each day while pointing to a visual reminder (both the letter and picture). This gives them daily exposure and practice to all letters of the alphabet! Students will also be tracing the letters with their finger for a tactile and visual connection. The tracing cards are meant to be used with their fingers (nothing else) and students should already have been introduced to how to form each letter to ensure they are tracing the letters correctly. The finger tracing helps them remember how each letter feels when they trace it with their finger. You will also be able to assess students’ progress in recognizing letter names and sounds with a quick assessment page and motivating sticker chart. The student printable page can also be used for other ABC practice activities. I have seen great progress in my struggling readers through the use of this pack!
