During this Christmas season, don't just write a letter to Santa; teach them the entire writing process with this unit that is full of resources to support you and your students in the process of writing a friendly letter.

This pack takes you through the entire writing process with posters, graphic organizers, differentiated drafts that include rubrics for revising and editing, final drafts, and Christmas vocabulary word cards to add to a word wall or to put on a ring for a portable word wall. Final drafts include primary lined pages and regular lined pages. Students can write to Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Gingerbread boy, or an elf. Your students are sure to love it and so you will you!

*2 versions of graphic organizers for differentiation (one with 4 details and one with 2 details)
*4 different versions of draft for differentiation (labeled, unlabeled). Each draft contains rubrics for revising and editing. **There are two versions of the revision rubric**
*Final drafts with primary lines and regular lines to write to Santa, Mrs, Claus, Rudolph, Gingerbread Boy, or an elf.
