This Beginning Level Spanish Bundle contains a variety of Notes for students, Bell-Ringer Activities, three Basic World Maps and Homework Assignments to practice the six forms of the verb ser.
Students learn to use the verb ser to talk about the countries and capitals of North America, South America and Central America, as well as some key European countries. Learning where these countries are located widens the students’ global perspective while talking about which language or languages are spoken in that country. In addition students use the verb ser to indicate origin (where someone is from) and identify basic occupations.
Languages included are Spanish, German, English, Italian, French and Portuguese.
Bell-Ringer Activities are material based questions which the instructor reads out loud, students write question and then write a response to it. Answer Keys provided.
Homework assignments work the six forms of ser with a variety of examples. Answer Keys provided.
Maps are for students to label and use in conversation. List of countries, capitals, continents and bodies of water provided, however they are mixed up so that after pronunciation practice, students must use the list to label their maps.
I use the same blank map for Map Assessment (they are given the same mixed up list, but must label countries, capitals (I do not have them label Central American capitals), continents and bodies of water. There are 65 things to label!
