This product was created to go along with FUNdations Level 1 Unit 12. It can be used with any phonics program to help your students learn multisyllabic words!
Included in this download:
-I spy: students have to highlight/circle words with two syllables and then rewrite them.
-Sort Words: Read the words in the box and sort them into the one syllable words box or two syllables box.
-Cut & Glue Word Sorts: Cut, sort, & glue multisyllabic words
-Roll, Read, & Color: Roll a die. Read the word. Color that word.
-Word Search: One for week 3.
-Spin & Unscramble: Spin a word, write the word. Unscramble the sentence. Write the sentence.
-Be Detectives: Week 3. Color all of the multisyllabic words. Spin a word and write the word.
-What is that?: Students have to say the name of the picture and write the word.
-Sentence Shop: Read the sentence. Write the sentence. Mark up the sentence. Circle trick words. One for week 1, week 2 and week 3.
-Mark it Up!: One for week 1 and one for week 2. Students will practice marking up 9 multisyllabic words and then rewrite the two trick words for week 1, three times each and same for week 2.
-Puzzles: Have your students practice putting together puzzles for two syllable words.
OOPS: Students will practice reading multisyllabic words & phrases (if you choose to include them, or use the phrase cards with your higher students). Students go around the table picking up a card and reading it. If they get an OOPS card, they give the teacher all their cards, or put in a discard pile. Player with the most cards at the end, wins!
