If your class studies Westward Expansion/Louisiana Purchase and the Lewis and Clark Expedition, this set will really add to your lessons. Included are Meriweather Lewis and William Clark, as well as their Shoshone guide, Sacajawea. Along with three key figures are a compass, longboat, and journal which was used to document and illustrate many of the scientific discoveries. Added to the set are some indigenous trees, bear, and the White Cliffs along the Missouri River. Featured also, are examples of the shelters used by the explorers and Oregons' Fort Clatstop - where the explorers concluded their journey.
