1 Inquiry-based discussion question/prompt - Que font les animaux pendant l'hiver pour survivre? (this inquiry question is also included in the "migration" and "adaptation" packages [2 versions - colour and BW])
1 class discussion question - Que remarquez-vous dans ces images? (2 versions - colour and BW)
1 hibernation poster (2 versions - colour and BW)

1 page for students to identify each animals hibernation place (cut and glue activity)
1 large 9-page full-colour book about animals that hibernate in Winter (Qui hiberne en hiver?). Each page focuses on a different animal that hibernates. The pages are divided into three sentences (a sentence to say the animal that hibernates, one page to talk about what they eat to prepare for their hibernation, and one sentence to say where they hibernate). There are 7 animals featured in the story. Great for read alouds or classroom libraries. Save paper and printer ink by viewing and reading the book on your SmartBoard screen!
1 BW mini version of the book for students (2 versions - colour or draw the pictures). A great emergent reader to send home as part of an at-home reading program!
