This activity can be both a class project and a library center. In this bundle, use the 4 library lesson plans and corresponding PowerPoint to introduce or review parts of a book and call numbers. Follow up the lessons by having students create their own book spines showing the parts of a book they learned and their knowledge of call numbers. This project makes a wonderful library display or bulletin board! Students loved this project so much, I continued it as a library makerspace center.
