Product Description
This pack includes 30 pairs of library definition matching cards aimed at upper elementary. A great way to teach students the terminology used in the library in a fun and motivating way. Use as a library center, an quick activity or even as a library game!

Each pair of cards includes a library related word and matching definition.
Examples include:
The name of a book: title
The person who writes a book: author
The person who draws the pictures in a book: illustrator
A book that is made up or make believe: fiction
A book genre that contains drawings of cartoons: graphic novel
A type of book that has mostly pictures: picture book
The person who is in charge of the library: teacher librarian
and 26 more!

How to Use:
Print, laminate and cut each card.
● You could use these as an individual student matching activity with all 30 pairs, or split into 2 sets with 15 in each.

● All 30 pairs could be used as a game of 'memory'
● I personally like to divide the 30 pairs into 3 'sets' of 10 cards and make enough duplicates for a class to work on 1 set in small groups. Once completed, students swap sets with another group.
