Library Egg Hunt gives students the opportunity to collaboratively use the online catalog system in the library to find the call number of easy and fiction books and then actually physically locate the book on the shelf in the library. The lesson begins with a read aloud of any book that features an egg hunt. After reading the story, you will tell the students that some eggs are still hiding in the library, and you need their help in locating them. Let the fun begin!
The following items are included in this packet:
• Game Directions
• Eggs for hiding in the books
• Easter baskets with book titles
• Editable blank Easter basket templates for adding your own titles
