Product Description
Want to keep students engaged in the library? Help students familiarize themselves with their library and all the wonders it contains!

*Include your librarian/media specialist in your planning to make the most of this worksheet.

When I use this, I usually have our media specialist chat with students as a group for about 10 minutes. Topics addressed in this time include genres, how to find books (catalog, location of fiction/nonfiction), spine labels/call numbers, and high-interest books for students. After this time, students spend about 10 minutes perusing their options and completing their worksheets... and checking out books!

Scoring: There are 20 questions total.

Enjoy! I've used this with 11th graders, but it could certainly be used at upper primary and middle grades in addition to secondary levels.
