QR codes are a great way for students to get up and locate where books are located in the library. I team students in groups of no more than three for this activity. One student per group must have access on either an iPad or cell phone to a QR code reader. I've included ten different starting points for this activity. Students scan the QR code and travel to the book location. The next QR code is waiting at this location.
This file includes ten team handouts as well as the original information used to create the QR codes. The original student handout links to my school website where I housed the original codes.
Learning from past experience, I would write the author name on the back of the QR code so I know where to place the code.
