Get ready for President's Day! We are always taught that skills are best learned at ‘point of need.’ When students are learning about famous people in their classrooms, take advantage of the opportunity to teach the organization of the Biography section of the library.
Library Task Cards: Biography
are designed to be used with several different grades by providing extension activities that go beyond basic book location. If appropriate, work with the classroom teacher to create a collaboration between the library and the classroom.
Included in this packet are:
44 pictured task cards that direct students to find a book about a famous United States President. Blanks are provided for you to write in additional names if you wish. Also included are response sheets to jot down up to 3 facts about the person once the book has been located.
**As of 09/27/15, all presidents are included. If you have previously purchased this set, you may upgrade for free at your My Purchases page.
