More About Order in the Library PART 2
about how fiction and nonfiction books are arranged in a school library media center, continues with a review of fiction order and introduces the concepts of SERIES and GRAPHIC NOVELS. The remainder of the lesson is devoted to breaking down the Dewey system into the 10 major classes and giving examples of the types of books found in each. Some ‘math’ is introduced by relating the hundreds place to the main classification and the tens place to more specific divisions.
