Product Description
What happened to Marion’s Book?

This product is based on the book, What Happened to Marion’s Book by Brooke Berg, and is designed to teach and/or remind your students of the importance of taking good care of their books whether they are personal, school, or library books. It also includes activities to teach students to listen for facts from texts and oral presentations and then use those facts in a project. Additionally, there are opportunities for students to analyze various, paired texts on the same topic

Students will:
Listen to a read aloud of the featured title
Write a note to Marion
Conduct a VERY short, guided research project
Create a product based on their research
Complete several compare and contrast activities

My first graders adore this book and they stay quite engaged with the activities!
