Set 9 players up to be the “stars” of the game. These students will sit in 3 rows of 3 to simulate a tic tac toe grid. I usually have the back row sit on stools, middle row sits in chairs, first row sits on floor or in beanbags. This way the students can see the actual grid in front of them.
two teams compete -- 3 players on each team
Team one picks a “star” (student in the grid)
-- teacher gives the “star” a slip of paper with the question and three possible answers on it. **Each of the questions is printed twice -- the teacher on has the answer in RED -- you keep this to check for accuracy...give the top half to the student in the grid. The “star” chooses the answer they think is correct (or may give an incorrect answer intentionally)
The Star gives an answer, either right or wrong --
team one must agree or disagree with the answer
