students create and share their amazing discovery through a process of illustrations, diagrams, and written explanations on the pages of their Critter Planner Packets. This critical thinking project can be used as a summative assessment that allows students to creatively apply what they have learned to their newly-discovered animal. While their critter is imaginative, it still is required to show the application of their knowledge of the key concepts listed above that apply to real-life living animals.
