Is your class following the Washington D.C. eagle nest cams? This interactive book makes a fantastic companion for special education teachers who are watching the cams with their students and learning about eagles, birds in general, or animal life cycles.
Ideal for special education science lessons, this resource includes interactive comprehension books at two levels (single word/phrase and simple sentence) along with "wh" comprehension checks at the end of each book.
In my own classroom, I like to laminate and bind the books for use during small group teaching. Picture and word answers for each page can be laid out on the table for students to choose from as they read (or you read to them) and then velcroed onto the pages.
Also included are black and white versions of each book so that students can create their own books to keep by cutting, pasting, and coloring.

This book is also available along with a ton of other great bird-related resources in my all about birds interactive science unit.
