This activity follows the Montessori method of sequencing. In this case, the children will learn about the sequence of a bee’s life. Most often, we use a series of beautiful cards that the child(ren) will place in the proper order. We then offer blackline pages that match the cards and the child(ren) will color, write vocabulary, etc and then compile it all into a small booklet.
In this case, however, we offer a variation on the theme which will give the child(ren) experience with another type of a study skill. We have provided an 8 ½” x 11’ ‘poster’ that you can print and laminate. (We mounted ours on a yellow piece of cardstock to make it even more beautiful!) Once you study this poster together, give the child(ren) one copy of each of the ¼ sheet pages. S/He can color each page and write the important words. When it’s finished it can be stapled together to form a book.
***Also Included in this product is a bonus song***
