Much of the way we teach today is designed to get us through 70 to 80 years of life. An increasing number of credible scientists expect that lifespan number to more than double in our students' lifetimes. Unless we begin developing teaching strategies with long life and optimal brain function and integration in mind, we will be greatly disrespecting and dis-serving our students.
In this short presentation I offer up several easily implemented strategies to begin to address this emerging reality. Speaking frankly, I think it's more than worth your time to explore, not only professionally, but personally as well.
