On page one of this morning work it has students practice skills such as filling in job application data (name, address, phone number, date of birth, student id# (we never do social security numbers) and the name of their emergency contact.) This ALSO helps them to know their address and phone number by heart. I typically start off the year with a sticker on their desk that has their address and phone number written on it so that they can learn it. As the year progresses and they have memorized it I remove it and then they use recall to fill in their form. Should a student still need it then it is left on their desk. It also covers basic information that students should know such as what month it is, what day is today (Monday, Tuesday, etc), what yesterday was, and what tomorrow will be. It also has visuals for students to choose as to what the weather is like.
On page 2 the students practice math skills.
On page 3 students practice language skills.
On page 4 and 5 students practice writing their spelling words 5x each and must choose 2 each day to write a sentence using it correctly. They are instructed to not use the same 2 more than 1x in a week. My students get 13 spelling words a week so they only need 10.
I hope this helps y'all.
