Students will learn to identify shirt sizes by reading shirt labels. They will look at a photo and identify whether a shirt is for a man or a woman. They use the "simple" label to gain and fill out this information. They then identify whether or not this would be an appropriate item of clothing for them to purchase; identifying why or why not using a word bank to fill in the blanks.
This activity can be used paired with practicing with real clothes in class and followed up with a trip to the store to pick out a shirt in their size at the store.
