Life in Mali

In the lesson, Life in Mali, students will explore the culture of Mali through a comparative investigation with the United States that focuses on food, housing, transportation and clothing in both countries.
1) Understand and identify the ways in which the environment affects food, clothing, housing and transportation in Mali and the U.S.
2) Conduct research to build knowledge about Mali and Malian food, clothing, housing and transportation.
3) Create a project using new knowledge about how people in Mali and the U.S. adapt to their environments.
