This is a living classroom station activity. Students will move from station to station experiencing the life of Native Americans in the Spanish Missions. It covers TEKS 7.2.C. The student understands how individuals, events, and issues through the Mexican National Era shaped the history of Texas. The student in expected to: identify important events related to European colonization of Texas, including the establishment of Catholic missions, towns, and ranches, and individuals such as Fray Damian Massanet, Jose de Escandon, Antonio Margil de Jesus, and Francisco Hidalgo.
