This is a set of viewing questions (70) for use with the Italian Holocaust movie Life is Beautiful / La vita è bella by Roberto Benigni. The aim is to keep students focused while they're watching the movie.
The questions are fairly low-order, but students will have to pay close attention to answer them. I have written the questions on details that will be important for later discussion and analysis of the film.
There are 70 questions. It's a seven page worksheet for students to complete. It's a Word document, so editable to suit your class. The 4 page answer key is also included.
Questions are sequential. Natural breaks occur in the movie at 24 minutes, 47 minutes, 60 minutes and 1:25. I have included these time markers in the worksheet to make it easy for you to break down the activity into five separate worksheets.
The preview file contains the first few questions. Even if you don't purchase this product, this will give you a useful task with which to start your study of Life is Beautiful.
NOTE: This is a low order activity. I have also written a set of questions which are more challenging for students. Check out Life is Beautiful Detailed Viewing Questions
