Product Description
Plant a seed in the ground and watch it grow!
A plant needs air, sun, water, and soil to grow.
A seed is a baby plant.
Seeds come in all shapes and sizes. A seed is a baby plant.
Give the seed some water and keep it warm.
The hard outside will get soft. This is called germination.
The roots come out of the seed and grow down into the soil.
The stem grows up and it is now called a seedling.
The seedling gets water and food from the soil
and grows into a young plant.
The leaves on the plant take the sun and turn it into food.
This is called photosynthesis.
When the plant grows bigger it makes flowers.
Flowers have pollen inside and help the plant make new seeds.
Animals, wind, or water can carry away a seed to start it all over again!
