This is the first half of a larger Twain Unit that I did with students in my 11th grade class. The task sheet involved is based closely on Florida State Standards and the Pearson Literature textbook for 11th grade. This is a guide through the reading of the short story involved and other activities including vocabulary, discussions about social commentary, and writing with anecdote.
Notes: I would like to bundle this activity with The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County, but I haven't quite figured out how to do that. I am very new to TpT - and as a newbie, if you all have any advice or wish that these activities included something, please provide feedback! Greatly appreciated :)
