Do you need remote or hybrid resources for your life skills students in high school who are not able to get out into the community right now? Community access activities that build literacy and numeracy skills for teens in life skills and transition programs are a great way of supporting classroom learning programs, but sometimes it can be hard work finding resources that suit young people who have moderate intellectual disabilities.
Students with moderate support needs often learn best with resources that include very reduced text, whole number calculations, choice of two options, and simple concepts and scenarios.
This bundle includes a range of low prep resources for teens with lower literacy and numeracy skills, who are participating in a life skills or community access program. It is designed to provide age appropriate content to suit young people who are able to read simple phrases and sentences, can work with whole numbers and can make a choice between two options.
