Light energy centers, demonstrating the different properties of light such as reflection, refraction, and absorption.
Each center asks students to state what they know before the activity, but also to predict what they think will happen, as well as explaining what they observed happening and why they think it happened.
After they are done with the experiment, they just flip the "Why It Happened' sheet and it explains how each center involves light and what was happening.
Also included are place settings for the materials for cleanup after each center is done.
Students will follow the directions according to the student instructions.
I've also chosen to do these "centers" as individual days-so each day the class completes a center.
