This is a quick lab to help students explore translucent, transparent, and opaque objects. Students can work in groups, pairs, or individually to test five objects: three determined by the teacher and two determined by the student.
Activity is specifically aligned to Georgia Standard S4P1, which states:
Students will investigate the nature of light using tools such as mirrors, lenses, and prisms.
1. Identify materials that are transparent, opaque, and translucent.
