Are you looking for a fun way to practice determining if a number is odd or even?? Then you found it!!! :) In my classroom, my kids learn to do-si-do with the 1s digit! Some kids won't need to use the dancing reindeer, but for the others, they will learn to identify the 1s digit in the number by coloring the light bulb in the 1s column. Then they will count out that number of dancing reindeer. Then "Find your partner, do-si-do." They will partner up their dancing reindeer to see if there is an "odd man out" or if every reindeer has a partner. :) My kids love this, and I have seen them drawing and circling "dots" on their papers. This is a fun holiday twist for them.
For the kids that don't need that extra support, they will simply use the dice to make their 2 or 3-digit numbers, write them on the light bulbs, color which bulb has the 1s column digit. Then circle even or odd. So they will skip the step of using the dancing reindeer.
