I used this sight word hunt with my kindergarten group today and they loved using different color crayons to find different sight words! I introduced the activity by writing the the three words on the board in the colors that the students will be using. I give the students the first color (purple) I want them to use and ask them to find the sight word 'like' and circle it every time they read it. Then I give the students a green crayon and continue with the word "and". Again I repeat the directions while giving the students a blue crayon that they will use to circle the word "went". This is a great activity that also allows students to practice following directions!!!
