This learning resource includes TEN different activities and uses comprehension strategies: Summarizing, Problem/ Solution, Main Idea, Connection, Visualization and Applications to Life for powerful understanding

No prep, easy to use reading response pages designed to focused on each reading strategy identified above are provided for multi-learning levels. Early primary to mid intermediate will have success using these response pages.

This short story unit was created to support a single read-aloud book, should a class set be unavailable.

Lila and the Crow written and illustrated by Gabrielle Gimard, is beautiful story about a young girl overcoming adversity and celebrating her differences.
