Created to supplement the story, there are printables for point of view, sequence of events, cause and effect, and even compare and contrast - CCSS aligned!
This is a collection of printables to use along with Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse by Kevin Henkes. These would be great to use during testing because it gives students a break from the monotony of testing time using high interest characters, but also reinforces concepts they've been working on throughout the year. This set could also be used as a reading center activity during rotations.
Reading Concepts Included:
* story elements
* compare/contrast characters
* sequence of events
* character point of view
* cause and effect
* character traits
