This puzzle is designed so that the pieces should match up with equivalent expressions along each edge. The puzzle is in "solved" form as provided here. Simply print it out, cut out the squares, and have fun!
There are two versions of the puzzle: One with letters and one without. An answer key is provided for the puzzle with letters.
All of the limits involve either plugging in or cancellation of terms in a rational function. There are no square root limits, trigonometric limits, or limits involving infinity in the puzzle.
This works well with small groups of students (2 - 3) or as a review for individual students.
This activity is appropriate for AP Calculus AB or BC.
