This video guide for the Steven Spielberg movie Lincoln gives twenty questions for students to answer while viewing the video and two optional homework assignments to complete after (see the preview document for details). It also includes a key.
The movie guide was created for a mixed-ability class, including both highly gifted and special-needs students. Because of the difficulty inherent in understanding the legislative process, some of the special needs kids need me to pause it and discuss it with them. I designed the questions hoping that all my students would help gain insight into legislative processes and Lincoln's personal life.
There is a question approximately every seven minutes. I do this to help focus student attention while still enabling them to view the movie.
