Teaching or reviewing line symmetry is a breeze with these 10 designs inspired by summer activities. Three ability levels are included so students can color, trace dashed lines and color, or draw and color. Low prep needed, just print and go; check out the video preview! The all-original designs are: Starfish • Crab • Sun • Palm tree • Bee • Butterfly • Flip-flops • Frog • Boy at pool • Girl at pool

Aligned with the Common Core Math Standard for 4th Grade Geometry CCSS.Math.Content.4.G.A.3: Recognize a line of symmetry for a two-dimensional figure as a line across the figure such that the figure can be folded along the line into matching parts. Identify line-symmetric figures and draw lines of symmetry.
Also in this packet are writing response sheets for kiddos to observe and record details in their picture, a Coloring With Symmetry poster, and bulletin board titles in color or black and white. The feedback on my other seasonal symmetry resources has been enthusiastic:
"Quick and easy formative assessment with students able to choose their comfort level."
"The symmetry activities helped even my most struggling students understand the concept!"
