Students will be combining their knowledge of solving/interpreting slope and y-intercept from both equations and coordinate pairs. Next, students will apply their knowledge of graphing lines and writing linear equations all while considering the effects of domain and range restrictions. This challenging activity ties together all of these skills which when done successfully will ultimately reveal a hidden picture.
**This is our more difficult picture. We also offer a strawberry (see our page-more to come) which may be more appropriate for intervention and students who are just beginning to master this material, however; we did use it with our 8th grade intervention students and it went well! An option is to offer both for differentiation purposes. We chose to not tell the students what the picture was going to be which definitely added to the level of engagement**
Please make sure when you print you have your printer set to landscape!
We hope you enjoy this activity!
