Objective: To practice writing linear equations when given two points.
Directions: For this activity, I like to have students work in groups of 3-4. You will need to print one set of cards for each group. (Be sure to select two-sided, long edge binding when printing.)
Students should place all cards question side down.
The group should select one card and flip it over.
Students should now work out the revealed problem on the student work page.
Once they have an answer, students should search for that answer on another card. That card should then be flipped over and laid on top of the first card to start a stack of questions and answers.
Students will now work out the problem revealed.
Students will repeat this process until all cards have been used. The answer to the very last problem should appear on the back of the first card which is at the bottom of the stack.
