This video shows a slope-intercept flippable, which is one of 3 flippables in Linear Equations Flippables
. Flippables are great for students who struggle to remember the variables in equations and need a visual to help complete classwork and homework.
These flippables are easily assembled with a pair of scissors and a stapler. They can stand alone of be glued into an interactive notebook.
There are 2 versions of each of the flippables included in the download depending on how much scaffolding your students need. The first version has kid-friendly definitions of each variable under each flap (this is the version shown in the video). Students who have a hard time remembering what each variable means will find these flippables very helpful. On the last page of each flippable is an example of the formula in action.
In the second version, the flaps are blank other than the variables and the example questions (no answers). These flippables would be good to use as class notes or with students who need a little less structure and scaffolding.
